Initial Thoughts:

I wish I could tell you that I haven’t seen every Jackass movie in theatre, but that would be a lie. My wife is a big fan of them and as a consequence I’ve seen them all. So when this came out of course I ended up seeing it as well.

Main Points:

The above statement made it sound like a chore but to be honest this is the least gross of all of them and “Billy” (Jackson Nicoll) is certainly less annoying than most of the adults. This movie actually has something of a plot and even a few dramatic moments.

Knoxville was always one of my favourite people from Jackass and this is his movie. As such I did find myself laughing at several parts but I also was bored as some of the story parts just seem like a long setup to the next gag.

I did like how he shines a spotlight on how messed up and disturbing child pageants are (by taking it to an even more disturbing level with a little boy doing a strip tease). The fact that these pageants still go on and are filmed is an indication of something that is seriously wrong with society.

Final Thoughts:

If you enjoyed the other Jackass movie than you’re likely to enjoy this. As with all them be prepared for a few gross students and of course some toilet humour. It’s mostly low brow stuff but the reactions of regular people are amusing and Knoxville and Nicoll do make a good team. So 6/10 from me and certainly a warning not to take young kids to this. Otherwise if you’re already seen all the really good movies out there than there’s a worse way to spend your time and money (maybe Winking smile).
