PTBT opened their doors a year ago and has grown from strength to strength working with some amazing authors along the way. This year the official .com site was opened, a dedicated team of graphics designers joined the team and PTBT became the official host for all tours under 5 Prince Publishing.

The story doesn’t stop there…

There are already plans for further improvements and many more tours to be held in the future along with further charity work.

We hope that you will check them out at this link: http://pageturnerbooktours.com

1 week tour – 1 additional day

2 week tour – $63.75 – 2 additional days

Working for Page Turner Book Tours has been amazing. I have met some amazing people, worked with some fantastic books and been privileged to be part of some amazing journeys. I know there will be great things to come for PTBT and I am excited to meet every request, author and to discover the wonderful books that I work with. Thank you to everyone on the past year who has worked with PTBT you are all amazing and I am so have been part of your journey. Here’s to the next fantastic year!” ~ Kate, Owner/Tour Coordinator PTBT

I have been blessed to have had a long professional relationship with Kate and Page Turner Book Tours. Her organization of the tours and cover launches has always exceeded our expectations. She is thorough and knows what she’s doing. I believed enough in the company that Page Turner Book Tours is the official coordinator for 5 Prince Publishing. Kate sets up tours for our cover/book launches, for each of our authors, as well as book tours. Her prices are very fair and that helps individuals and small businesses. I give Kate and Page Turner Book Tours 5 STARS, for their consistently good service, well managed tours, and comfort level when working with them. If you are looking to promote yourself or your book I highly recommend Page Turner Book Tours.” – Bernadette Soehner, CEO, 5 Prince Publishing, Lost And Found Tour Details

I enjoyed working with Page Turner Book Tours in 2012 for my second Lash Series Book, Shadow Man. Kate was able to arrange far more stops than I’d initially hoped for, and also garnered my book several five star reviews! The spreadsheet she gave me to work from had all the relevant contact information to write tailored engaging posts for each site, and she fulfilled every part of the agreement to create and deliver signature prizes for the tour. She tried her very best to make my tour the best it could be. The best recommendation is that I will be using her services again this summer to promote another coauthored work!

Service: At least half of service is value for the money spent. Kate gives great packages and I feel I got a very good value for the money I spent with her. She was knowledgeable and answered my questions in a timely fashion. I especially appreciated the reviews as part of the package, of which almost all were favorable.

Communication: the other half of service for this type of promotion is communication, and Kate was very good in that aspect as well. For my tour, I had a total of 5 interviews to complete, along with 12 guest posts. She got me info for topics and interview questions as soon as she had them, which helped me stay ahead and on time with my side of the tour.

Overall tour running: 5 starsTara Fox Hall, Author, Lash Tour Details

I have had the pleasure of working with Page Turner Book Tours for just a few short months. When I first contacted Kate and told her what I was looking for, she helped walk me through everything that they could do, what it would entail on my part as well as what was to be expected from her and Page Turner Book Tours.

Every time I have any questions Kate is sure to replay quickly. I have not encountered many problems while working with Page Turner Book Tours other than a few Bloggers did not follow through on their end. Which, I by no means, hold against Page Turner Book Tours.

Kate does a wonderful job communicating what is needed by all her bloggers, if you are interested then you just let her know and she does the rest. All you have to do as a blogger is set it up to go on your scheduled date.

Overall I think Kate and Page Turner Book Tours do a wonderful job with their Press Releases, Interviews, Book reviews and scheduling who needs to be where and what time. I would give Page Turner Book Tours 5 out of 5 stars!” ~ Marie, 5 Prince Publishing

Page Turner Book Tours is a great resource for authors and I have personally found Kate and her tour company to be worth their weight in gold! I have worked with Kate on book tours for myself and I have even joined book tours for other authors as a host. Each time I have found Kate to be absolutely wonderful to work with. With many tours running consecutively Kate is adept and masterful as she customizes each tour to the specific author and his/her book.

Kate is a marvelous coordinator and I can’t wait to work with her in the future on a book tour.  If you are looking for a company to schedule a tour, than I recommend working with Kate at Page Turner Book Tours. She will customize a tour specifically for you and work with book bloggers making your tour run as easy as possible leaving you with a sense of satisfaction and a great tour experience!

Page Turner Book tours is definitely a five star company!” M.M. Shelley, Murder On Mars Tour Details

And now my interview with the always friendly, super-nice Kate Bainbridge =)

1. What’s your name (pen if you prefer) and what is your favourite color? (guess what movie that’s from)

Hey Charles *waves*!! Well my name’s Kate and my favourite colour is blue

Follow up: You missed it! I was making a reference to Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail but that’s okay, I am a huge geek Smile.

2. What got you interested in running book tour sites?

My love for books and wanting to help spread the word about the excellent authors I work with. I had been touring with a few other companies and thought it was an excellent way to help authors. I have been very lucky to work with some amazing authors and recently became a partner to 5 Prince Publishing.

3. Exactly how big a wrestling fan are you?

MASSIVE!! I go to EVERY UK tour and have even travelled to New York for Wrestlemania 29 with hopeful plans to go to New Orleans for Wrestlemania 30. I watch pretty much every WWE show and when I can TNA. I have been lucky to meet many of the superstars with hopes to meet many more. Oh and then there’s the merch…………

4. Who is your favourite wrestler?

Oh god!! I have a huge list *thinks and tries to work down to top 10* (please remember this is current – it can change although my top 3 are set in stone)

1. Evan Bourne

2. Matt Striker (ok he’s a commentator but still!!)

3. John Cena

4. Cody Rhodes

5. Justin Roberts (ok he’s a ring announcer but he’s amazing!!)

6. Christian

7. Epico

8. Alex Riley

9. Seth Rollins

10. Fandango

5. How about a little bit about you? (or a lot if you prefer) What makes you tick? What turns you on? 😉

I live on my own about 10 minutes away from my parents with my cat Molly. I love watching films, listening to music and singing, I used to be in a band which cut a CD when I was 18. I write and have a piece I want to get published! I love to read hense Read 2 Review and PTBT. I adore America and one day hope to make the big move. I try and head back over at least once a year (managed it twice in one year this year). I used to horse ride but haven’t for such a long time but really miss it. Oh and recently I have become addicted to hanjie.

Follow up: Hanjie? I guess I am getting older, I have no idea what that is. I’ve been going to the US (Florida in particular) almost every year since I was six months old. If I had a choice I would be six months there and six months in Newfoundland, or somewhere else warm Smile

6. What is the trait you value most in others?

Honesty. It’s all I ask from people that they are honest and truthful

7. If you could have two super powers what would they be and why?

The ability to teleport from place to place. Then I could be in America anytime I wanted =)

Follow up: That’s one, I imagine your other one would be telepathy so you could have your way with Vin Diesel Winking smile.

8. Marvel or DC?

Marvel!!!!!!!

Follow up: Marvel has done a lot of good adult comics, I’ve probably read more of them them than DC (for now) but Batman will always be my favourite character.

9. Favourite TV show?

WWE Raw??? LOL!! I love Glee absolutely love it!! It’s one of the only shows that has ever made me cry.

10. Do you think the future is in Ebooks? Or will print make a comeback?

I am hopeful that prints will make a comeback. There is nothing like the feel of a book in your hands.

11. What are you reading right now?

The Help by Kathryn Stockett – what an amazing book! The film is brilliant too!!

12. What was the last movie you saw?

On TV I watched Dispicable Me last night. At the cinema I watched Fast And The Furious 6 – Vin Diesel in tight jeans and a tight black vest. Umm help!!!!!! *drools*

13. What was the last book you really loved?

Oooooh umm there was one I read recently that reduced me to tears only I can’t remember the title!! ARGH!!

Follow up: Maybe it was my book? The Newfoundland Vampire? Book 2 will be out in the fall! (sorry couldn’t resist Winking smile)

14. Do you like your job?

Very much so. It’s given me the opportunity to meet new people, read amazing work and discover new things.

15. If you could have a very different career/job what would it be?

When I was young I always had a dream of owning my own stables and being around horses 24/7. I even went to “horse university” to study for a degree which would have helped me towards that dream. Sadly things didn’t work out there. Maybe one day I will have 1 horse and that would be a dream come true.

Follow up: Horses are beautiful animals, I took lessons when I was younger. I haven’t been on one in years, I still love to see them whenever I can.

16. Have you ever met someone you only spoke with before online?

Yes I have and they were as lovely as I imagined them to be =D

17. Do you go to Sci-fi/Fantasy or horror conventions?

I used to. I haven’t been to one in a long time. The last one was a Twilight one where I met 2 of my favourite actors! They are awesome guys!!

18. When was the last time you had a moment (or longer) of pure joy?

Does meeting John Cena and Matt Striker count? Or wait when I was at Wrestlemania 29 I was the first to go and see Matt and we had a good long time together. He’s such an amazing guy! *Gushes*

19. How do you feel about promotion for writers? Any tips?

Umm sign up for one of my tours? Marketing, touring and constant promotion is important for any book release. If your name and title is out there and people are talking about it then only good things can happen because of it.

20. Favourite author?

Too many to mention, lol!! I would say that from a child though my faveourite authors have been J.R.R. Tolkein and C.S. Lewis. Only I wish my wardrobe did that too!!

21. Favourite person (living or dead)?

Easy my Dad! He’s the strongest, bravest and most incredible man I have ever had the honour of knowing. He’s the one that always faces a challenge head on and has been the one there for me and my mom for a long long time.

22. Would you consider yourself religious?

Kinda. I was confirmed as a teenager but sometimes its hard to believe when bad things happen around you and to the ones you love.

23. What do you think is the biggest problem in the world today?

I think one that is over looked is the lack of care for those with mental health issues. It’s still seen as taboo and something to fear. If there was more care for those with these kind of issues then maybe just maybe the world would be a better place.

24. If you had all the money you ever wanted, what would you do?

EASY!! Move to America!! I would love to own a place either in Boston, Boothbay Harbour or possibly even New Jersey. Somewhere near the sea, in the peace and calm and where I could still do everything that I loved doing. Work would be able to move with me and maybe I could even own that horse I mentioned before.

25. What’s the secret to happiness?

Being healthy, having a job you love, friends you can rely on and hearing the peaceful sound of the sea.

Follow up: Agreed, I think you’re very lucky to have a job you love. Most people (something like 80% in North America anyway) hate their job or at least dislike it. I’m one of those. The sound of the ocean is lovely, I live near the water but I don’t hear it sadly.

Thanks for taking the time to talk with me. E-mail me anytime if you want to chat TheNLVampire@gmail.com thanks again! Smile
